Why our wicket-keeping, Vivian Richards fan really likes Test matches...

'My best cricketing memory was playing in my dad's team when I was 11 and then years later playing with my son'
- Robbie Naraine

Name: Robbie Naraine

Nickname: King Viv, or Sir Vivian. Either one works.

How would you describe yourself as a player? Attacking batsman, part-time spin bowler, excellent slip catcher, above average wicket-keeper. Basically, the complete package.

How long have you been at ACC? 15 years.

Best cricket memory: Playing cricket with my dad’s team when I was 11 years old and then many years later being able to play cricket with my son. Scoring my first century, ever, for the 4’s in 2010 and also further tons for ACC in matches on a Sunday and midweek. Is that a first?

Embarrassing moment: Any time I get a first ball duck. Luckily, there haven’t been too many.

Favourite player/hero: As the nickname suggests, it could only be Sir Vivian Richards. (watch some classic footage from the Master Blaster)

Favourite format to watch: Test matches. After all, its 4 to 5 days of the missus leaving me alone!

Predictions for the 2020 season: With the influx of new players across the XI’s, a strong showing from all sides with, hopefully, a title or promotion from one or two sides (if we get some cricket!)
