I hope that all members, supporters and their families are staying safe and well.
Following the Prime Minister’s new set of lock-down regulations, I wanted to clarify the current situation about cricket at Sandilands.
For the time being there can be no cricket, or cricket related activities, at the club. This includes the use of the nets.
All such activity is prohibited and would compromise the club's insurance.
We are in regular contact with both the ECB and Surrey and both have both sent emails to clarify the current situation. The earliest that any likely recreational or social cricket may take place is still 1st July. However we all know that we are in a very fluid situation, and that policy can change rapidly.
We will keep members informed as soon as anything changes.
Keep well,
Roger
