Unfortunately the weather situation for tomorrow proposes to be dire with rain, rain and more rain.
Not my fault.!!

Turning to last week’s games, only 4 Saturday matches as the First team had no fixture.
The Sunday Development side lost their match against Spencer which meant that had a third place finish in their league for the season.
Saturday’s games were a bit of a mixture
The Twos lost to Kempton by 2 wickets. Jack Stone 27 Amal Babu 10-1-37-4. League position second, in a promotion spot.
The Threes won by 10 wickets against Chipstead, P. Shukla 46, Abid Sherzad 26. League position 5th.
The Fours won by 144 runs against Croydon CC, Zayan Milton-Richards 101, Michael Dean 43, A, Mahli 30. League position first, promotion spot!
The Fives against Croydon CC were sadly beaten by Croydon CC by 14 runs, after some incredible bowling from our female team member Anna Stone 3.5-0-14-6, Akain Jeewandra 35. They are sixth in their league.
Games this Saturday

First team at home v Camberley 12 noon start.
Second team away to Mitcham 12 noon as well.
Third team at 1743 v Streatham and Marlborough 1 pm start.
Fours away to Battersea also 1 pm start.
The Fifth team are playing at Purley Way on a non turf pitch, again a 1 pm start.
Other Club Matters
Don’t forget tomorrow night there is a Quiz night, open to all, teams of 4, starting at 8.15, a bbq also being held. Tickets purchased on the night.
There is also a raffle for club funds.
Next important date is the club awards night 7th September in the bar. Please can I have all the relevant trophies back from last year’s winners by Wednesday 28th August.
Trophies can be left at the bar for me to collect.
