Volunteers needed this Sunday: help prepare Sandilands for winter

With the onset of autumn, we need to do a few simple jobs to prepare the ground for winter.

These include moving the sightscreens at the Lloyd Park end and removing the sheets from the covers and storing them away. Thanks to Roger and Pete Murphy for already doing some of the jobs.

These jobs mean that come next April the facilities will be in good shape for the start of 2021 season.

We need between 6-8 volunteers to work with Roger and I. We are meeting at Sandilands at 11.00am on Sunday morning.

This will be weather-dependent and if it is too wet we will postpone.

The work will not take long and the bar will open at 12 so we can share a drink together afterwards. Please let Jon Kuhrt know if you can make it.
