1's lose to Bank

Well Well no Adnan Saleem I am told as I arrive at Sandilands to report on The 1’s. The stage is set for a Youngster to steal the show against The Bank.
Looking at the team sheet that I am provided with by the Lovely Lyn Poulton Addiscombe’s long suffering Scorer and Mum of Andrew Poulton 1st Eleven Skipper for the past 6 seasons. Hey what’s this The Dennis Twins at last playing together at Sandilands in the 1’s. Not since The Lineker Twins in the Nineties or even The Hooper Twins in the Forties has this happened.
The Bank get off to a solid start despite Chris Lloyd Park End Jones best efforts and Jason Moore with Wheels but without Wheels if you get my drift.
Enter Tristan Dennis and after just two balls the square leg umpire shouts” No Ball” Martyn Bain would have loved that and most of you who dribble in your sleep know what I mean. Yes only 3 players in the inner circle.
The Youngster picks up his 1st 1st Eleven wicket and the breaks are applied but not by Jason because he only bowls with Wheels………..
I decide that a bit of journalism is required and as it’s safe to go into The Kitchen this weekend  I venture over to pin Vice Chairman soon to be Chairman Roger Hurrion up against the wall with a Butter Knife. What’s happening chief I ask him? The games up he replies the caterers have let me down and I…………… No Roger why are The Twins in the 1’s ……. Oh right.
Poults and Baz have made a pact…………. Really no way I reply………. Yes they have so there… You won’t get any more out of me not even for a bag of Haribo……
The Man that invented “The Mo Bot” eat all the teas after being hit for 37 off 4 overs and then opened the batting and top scored with 31. Sam Dennis played soundly for his 17 but The Bank got there revenge for the earlier home defeat.
Congratulations to the 2’s 3’s and 4’s for their victories and can someone tell me was Adnan GB in the 2’s or Luff is the 3’s………..
