U13s beat Trinity Mid-Whitgiftians

We bowled first on a damp pitch at Sandilands with Aden Latif and Danny Kuhrt opening the bowling. They bowled tight against some decent Mid-Whits batsmen. Tom Kuhrt came on first change and bowled very tight and bowled their best batsman out. Danny Sampson also bowled tight and accurate and ended with 3 excellent wickets for only 11 runs. Hamzah Khan also bowled tight and deserved better luck. Nikhil Malotra came on towards the end and did a superb job of cleaning up the tail with the incredible figures of 2 overs, 2 maidens, 4 wickets for NO RUNS! ACC fielded the best they had all season and we bowled out OMW for 56.

Again, ACC U13 batting was uncertain - especially when batting mainstay, Jamie Mander was out for 9. But Callum Wilson batted superbly as wickets fell around him - he kept hitting the ball cleanly and running sensibly. Callum ended 29 not out (his highest score) with ACC losing 7 wickets in getting the target. Great to record another win and well done everyone - but we need to work on our batting!
