After the win against Old Whits last week, Addiscombe U13's travelled to Dulwich hoping to produce a decent performance against a traditionally very strong team. Winning the toss and choosing to field first Addiscombe kept things fairly tight and after 12 overs Dulwich were on 63. A slight loss of concentration in the field cost a bit in the second 12 overs but Dulwich finished on 149 which all things considered with some players out due to half term was a reasonable performance. Unfortunately, the batting couldn't live up to the expectations and a number of wickets fell early on which meant Addiscombe were never able to put pressure on the Dulwich fielders eventually reaching a total of 54 all out. Tom Smith again scored well retiring on 30 not out and James Duffy battled with him through the middle overs to score 12 very hard earned runs. So, a lesson in needing to be patient in the early overs for next week's game.
