U13's Lose to Reigate Manor

Addiscombe travelled to Reigate Manor on the back of a good win against Alleyn's. Losing the toss, Reigate decided to bat first and with a very strong line up piled on the runs at a very quick rate. Whilst we generally bowled too short the quality of the top and middle order was plain to see and they finished their 24 hours on a daunting 202/3. Yash Vora being the pick of our bowlers picking up all three of the wickets to fall. With Addiscombe s turn to bat we were always behind the run rate but it was pleasing to see that we didn't collapse and only began really tolose wickets ourselves when we tried to up the scoring and started taking risks. Pick of the batsman was Tom Smith, who retired on 32, Yash vora scoring 21 and Tom Kuhrt (again) producing a solid innings of 23. We did bat out all of our overs finishing on a creditable 121 butit was never going to be enough. Sometimes you're just beaten by a better team........
